We’ve helped hundreds of people build their dream homes at The Villages of Park DuValle, and we can do the same for you.  Our passion is our customers.  Throughout the entire home-buying and construction process and beyond, our knowledgeable and dedicated Sales Center staff will guide and support you.  They are your key to a thorough understanding of these processes and a smooth home buying experience.

Purchasing and building a home at The Villages of Park DuValle follows a specific sequence of events.  We call it, “The Path to Home Ownership.”  If you want to know where to start, check out the overview below or call us at the Sales Center at 515-1979.

THE PATH TO HOMEOWNERSHIP

H Visit the Sales Center for a sales orientation and sales packet.

H Understand what is a Planned Community.

H Know how much house you can buy by getting a pre-approval from a mortgage company or bank for a first mortgage loan.  Pre-approval must be submitted to Sales Center before contract.

H Enroll in a homeownership counseling program (required for first-time homebuyers only).

H Review and select one of The Villages of Park DuValle home builders and house designs; then choose a lot.

H Sign Sales & Purchase Contract with home builder.

H Apply for first mortgage loan at bank or mortgage company and for Park DuValle second mortgage incentive.

H Builder submits house plans and specs for Physical Design Committee approval.

H Attend Construction Orientation (a requirement of the Second Mortgage Incentive)

H Construction on your home begins.

H Finalize your loan and update financial documents.

H You may hire a home inspector to check home after completion.

H Pre-Closing walkthrough with builder and LREDC staff.

H Home closing.

H Move into your new home!
