Laneh was founded by Herbert L. Toler to meet the need for affordable single-family residences. Herb Toler is a two-ten home warranty builder, FHA- and VA-approved, and is certified by the Louisville-Jefferson County Human Relations Commission. Herb Toler is a registered builder with the Louisville Home Builders Association, and holds memberships with the Kentucky Home Builders Association and the National home Builders Association. New construction and remodeling projects have been completed since 1994 in Jefferson as well as Shelby and Spencer Counties.
